Project Mog ("Project Mog", "we", "us", or "our") operates a community-ranked directory of looksmaxxing initiatives. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, a display name, username, and profile avatar. If you sign in with a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive basic profile details permitted by that provider.
• Content you create. Reviews, ratings, votes, shortlists, shortlist notes, submitted initiatives, and any images you upload.
• Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as browser type and interactions needed to operate the service. We store some preferences locally in your browser (localStorage).

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To display your public contributions (reviews, submitted initiatives, and public shortlists) alongside your chosen display name and avatar.
• To rank initiatives and compute community features such as leaderboards and badges.
• To communicate with you about your account (for example, password resets).

Some information is public by design. Your display name, avatar, submitted initiatives, reviews, and any shortlist you choose to make public are visible to other users and may appear on profile pages, leaderboards, and shared links. Your email address is never shown publicly.

We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, and file storage infrastructure. Your data is processed and stored on their platform in accordance with their security practices. We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. You can clear this data through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or reset local preferences.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may delete individual contributions at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

• Access, update, or delete your profile information from your dashboard.
• Delete reviews, votes, shortlists, and initiatives you created.
• Make your shortlist private or rotate its share link at any time.
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us.

The service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
