A low-level laser therapy (LLLT) cap or helmet worn for 25 minutes every other day. Red and near-infrared light at 650–670nm penetrates the scalp to stimulate cytochrome c oxidase in follicle mitochondria, extending the anagen growth phase. The FDA has cleared multiple LLLT devices for androgenic alopecia. Best results seen as an adjunct to minoxidil or finasteride.

6 months using alongside minoxidil. Density improved more than minoxidil alone for me.

Slow results but consistent. Scalp health improved noticeably. Takes patience.
