Lip Liner Overline

Fuller lips without filler

Drawing lip liner just outside the natural vermillion border — particularly on the cupid's bow and the centre of the lower lip — to create the illusion of fuller, more defined lips. The key is staying within 1–2mm of the natural lip line and blending the liner inward so no hard edge is visible. Filling the entire lip with liner before applying lipstick prevents feathering and extends wear significantly. Overlining specifically the cupid's bow adds definition that photographs dramatically. When done correctly it is completely undetectable — when overdone, it reads immediately as obvious.

Subtle overline on the cupid's bow and centre lower lip — my lips look naturally full without any filler. The key is staying close to the natural edge.

Filling the entire lip with liner as a base stopped my lipstick from feathering and made the colour last twice as long.
