Shorten the philtrum for a permanently youthful upper lip

A bullhorn or modified lip lift removes a strip of skin just beneath the nose to shorten the philtrum (the distance between nose and upper lip) and roll the upper lip upward, increasing tooth show and lip fullness. The philtrum lengthens with age and is one of the clearest markers of facial aging; shortening it has a profound rejuvenating effect on the entire lower face. Results are permanent. The scar runs in the natural crease beneath the nose and becomes nearly invisible with a skilled surgeon. Often preferred over filler by patients seeking a permanent solution to a long philtrum.

Scar is invisible at 6 months and my upper lip looks full and youthful without ever touching filler again. The philtrum length was aging me a decade.

Permanent result vs. filler every 6 months — there's no comparison. Find a surgeon who has done hundreds of these.
