Extend contouring below the face for full coherence

Sweeping contour shadow under the jaw and blending down the sides of the neck to define the jawline against the neck and reduce the appearance of a double chin or soft jaw. Without neck contouring, a heavily contoured face can look artificially constructed against an uncontoured neck — the face and neck read as different skin tones in daylight and photography. A soft shadow directly beneath the jaw creates the separation that makes the jaw appear sharper. Blending must be seamless at the jaw edge.
